Trout fishing
Fly fishing for brown trout is available (16 Feb - 30 Sept) on the River Dallau in Newmarket & Kanturk Trout Fishing club also allows fishing on 14 miles of the River Allow, day tickets available.
Approximately 25 minutes drive from the B&B is Ballyhass Lakes, a large managed trout fishery. Its open all year & has a tackle shop onsite. Boat hire is available or you can fish from the bank. Also nearby is the River Blackwater famous for its salmon fishing. We have a large drying room for wet clothes in case it happens to rain!
